The biannual event attracts nearly 500 athletes from 21 ethnic minority groups in 15 southern provinces and cities competing in seven sports for both men and women, including football, volleyball, marathon, tug-and-war, archery, stick pushing, and running on stilts.
The five-day event aims to promote physical training, uphold traditional values and strengthen solidarity among ethnic minority groups in the southern region.
