The annual tournament attracted eight teams participate in two groups.
Dong Nai will play in group B with three other teams including U23 Viet Nam, Bangu Atletico Clube (Brazil), and Semen Padang FC (Indonesia). While hosts Binh Duong, Dong Tam Long An, South Korean students and REAC Sportiskola (Hungary) will compete in Group A.
The champion team will receive 450 million VND, second and third places will receive 250 million VND and 100 million VND respectively.
The tournament offers a chance for Dong Nai as well as other Vietnamese football teams to gain valuable experience and well prepare for the upcoming football season. It is also the final challenge for the Vietnamese U-23 footballers prior to the 27 th Southeast Asian Games scheduled for December this year in Myanmar.
The tournament will finish on November 3.
