The two-sample set features Vietnam’s Grey Peacock-Pheasant and Singapore’s Red Jungle Fowl, which are listed in the Red Book of Endangered Species.
The stamps, printed with offset printing technology, are designed by Vietnamese painter To Minh Trang and Singaporean Eng Siak Loy.
The set will be available in the post network in 192 member countries and territories of the Universal Postal Union until June 30, 2015.
This is the second Vietnam – Singapore joint stamp set issued by the Vietnam’s Ministry of Information and Communications and the Vietnam Post. The first set, released in 2008, depicted the two countries’ typical fruits including the blue dragon (Vietnam) and the durian (Singapore).
