Poems written by AO victim introduced

(ĐN)- On September 7, Dong Nai Folk Art and Literature Branch and Tran Bien Temple of Literature club-house co-organized a talk to introduce the second volume of poems entitled “Aspiration of wheelchair ” of Poet Dinh Thi Hoang Loan who was affected by Agent Orange/dioxin living in Bien Hoa city.

Attending the event was Head of Commission for Communications and Education Huynh Van Toi, artists, sponsors and a lot of local people.

At the program, 15 poems in her second collection were performed by the artists inside and outside the province. Participants also talked with Hoang Loan and presented valuable gifts to support the poet to develop her talent in writing poetry.

Loan, aged 35, have suffered Agent Orange birth defects. However, she has overcome disabled pain to write more than 100 poems with a very expressive and optimistic attitude towards life. Her first volume of poems entitled “Giving thanks for the life” were published widely and received great attention thanks to the support of Dong Nai province’s AO/Dioxin Victims Association and some sponsors.
