The event brought together 150 fighters from 15 cities and provinces nationwide vying for 18 sets of medals in ten weight combat categories for men and eight for women.
Fighters from HCM city finished on top with six gold, five silver and four bronze medals. Public Security ranked second and Ba Ria-Vung Tau province were third.
Outstanding athletes will be selected to represent Vietnam at the 27th Southeast Asian Games to be held in Myanmar later this year.
Muay, a traditional martial art of Thailand, has been developed strongly worldwide and is included in international and regional competitions in recent years.
