The hosts Dong Nai regrettably lost 3-4 in the penalty shootout after the two teams drew 4-4 in regular time.
Ninh Binh also needed a penalty shootout to beat home team Dong Tam Long An in the remaining semi-final match following a 3-3 stalemate in 90 minutes.
SHB Da Nang will face Ninh Binh in the National Cup in the final game , which will take place on September 5 at Chi Lang Stadium in Da Nang City.
