(ĐN)- 14 athletes of Dong Nai province are taking part in the 2013 National Youth Wushu Championships which was opened on July 15 at Thai Binh provincial Sports Centre.
The annual event attracts 408 male and female athletes aged from 13 to 18 from 29 cities and provinces competing for 90 sets of medals in both taolu (performance) and sanshou (combat) events.
The eight-day tournament offers a good opportunity for local marital artists to hone their skills and for coaches to select young promising athletes for the national team.
