(ĐN)- The 11th National Youth Vovinam Championships closed in Ha Noi on June 21 after five days of competition.
The event attracted 383 martial artists from 28 cities and provinces across the country. They are divided into two age groups: 13-15 and 16-18 to compete in combat and performance events.
Dong Nai’s artists won three gold, two silver and three bronze medals at this year’s tournament.
HCM city team ranked first with 14 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals, followed by the Can Tho provincial team with 10 golds, 4 silvers and 7 bronzes.
The annual event aims to create favourable conditions for young athletes to learn more experience from each other.
