The event, jointly held by Ho Chi Minh city's Public Security Newspaper and Vietnam Sports Newspaper, attracted the participation of eight teams, including team from Re-educational School No. 4 in Dong Nai province.
The teams are divided into two groups and compete in a round-robin format with the best four teams entering the semi-finals.
The tournament is scheduled to close on May 30.
