Dong Nai honors 110 studious families and clans

(ĐN)- In the morning of May 18, Dong Nai province’s Study Encouragement Association organized a conference to honor typical studious families and clans across the province for the third time.

According to the association, nearly 50,000 families have been recognized as “Studious Families” and 47 clans as “Study Encouragement Clans” over the past time.

Addressing at the conference, Vice Chairman Luong Ngoc Toan of Viet Nam Study Encouragement Association praised the achievements made by Dong Nai Study Encouragement Association and stressed that these outstanding and necessary activities should be further expanded to build a better educated society in the future.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Tri of the provincial People’s Committee expressed his hope that at least 60 percent of local families would be recognized as studious families by 2018; the association should continue to strengthen the province’s study encouragement activities to help outstanding poor students and commend studious families, study encouragement clans, and study encouragement residential quarter.

On this occasion, Dong Nai Study Encouragement Association and its agencies in Xuan Loc and Nhon Trach districts were awarded excellent emulation flags by Viet Nam Study Encouragement Association; 110 studious families and clans received certificates of merit of the provincial People’s Committee. At the conference, five typical studious families were chosen to participate in the third National Emulation Congress on Study Encouragement in Hanoi.
