The event is jointly organized by the provincial Committee for Ethnic Minorities and Department of Culture Sports and Tourism.
During the four-day festival, athletes will compete in a variety of sporting events, including football, volleyball, cross-country running, stick pushing, crossbow shooting, tug of war and stilt walking.
A wide range of activities are also scheduled including art performance and cuisine culture exchange.
The event aims to improve the health and spiritual life of ethnic minority people, promote traditional cultural values and enhance solidarity among the community of Vietnamese ethnic groups.
