(ĐN)- On March 14, at the provincial Conference Centre, Dong Nai Cinema and Film Distribution Centre organized a ceremony to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Vietnam’s revolutionary movie industry, established on March 15, 1953 via a decree signed by the late President Ho Chi Minh.
The ceremony was attended by Acting Director Le Van Hung of Southern Representative Agency under Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Tri of Dong Nai provincial People's Committee , Deputy Chairman Le Xuan Thang of Vietnam Artistic Photographers' Association, and Vice Chairwoman Duong Thuy Cam of Vietnam Cinema Association.

Ealier, a film week has been held across the province from March 8-15 to screen outstanding feature, documentary and cartoon films of the country’s movie industry. Films to be screened include Bao Gio Cho Den Thang Muoi (Love Doesn’t Come Back), Dem Hoi Long Tri (Long Tri Festive Night), Ve Noi Gio Cat (Return to Region of Wind and Sand) and Nuoc Ve Bac Hung Hai (Water Returns to Bac Hung Hai).

On this occasion, an photo exhibition is also opened in Dong Nai provincial Museum and Library. The exhibition displays more than 100 works from photographers inside and outside the province.
