1. Hung Kings’ worship ritual receives UNESCO title
2. UNESCO recognises Buddhist woodblocks
3. Uncle Ho monument inaugurated in Gia Lai
4. ASIAD 2019 to take place in Vietnam
5. Various activities to welcome Vietnam’s friendship years with Laos, Cambodia, the Republic of Korea and India, as well as cultural exchange programmes in the border regions of Indochinese countries.
6. Ha Long Bay voted new Wonder of the World
7. Vietnam attracts nearly 7 million foreign visitors
8. Ho Chi Minh and State awards winners named
9. 18 Vietnamese athletes received London 2012 Olympic berths, 11 others attended the Paralympics. The national teams won 271 golds, 234 silvers and 154 bronzes from numerous international competitions.
10. The 2012 Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival for Cham ethnic people in Ninh Thuan province and the inauguration of the Cham tower at the Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups.
