(ĐN)- On Jan 28, 132 Laotian and Cambodian students studying at universities in Dong Nai province gathered at Buu Long Tourist Area to celebrate the coming Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

The event was organized by Dong Nai provincial People's Committee with the attendance of Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Vice Chairwoman of People’s Council Huynh Thi Nga, Vice Chairman of People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri and Lao Consul General in HCM City Southideth Phommalat.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh introduced the students about the Vietnamese Tet festival. He also praised their efforts in studying over the past time.
At the event, Laotian and Cambodian students performed their traditional songs and dances.
