Vietnamese artist wins FIAP gold prize

A photo capturing local people’s passage over a yellow sandy hill by Vietnamese artist, Nguyen Quoc Huy, has won a gold prize of the “open” section at the 9 th edition of “Bucovina Mileniul III” International Salon of Photographic Art in Romania. 

 

 

A photo capturing local people’s passage over a yellow sandy hill by Vietnamese artist, Nguyen Quoc Huy, has won a gold prize of the “open” section at the 9 th edition of “Bucovina Mileniul III” International Salon of Photographic Art in Romania. 

The contest was jointly organised by the Bucovina Museum and the Bucovina Culture Centre in Suceave city, Romania under the sponsorship of the Fed eration International Art Photography (FIAP) and the Romanian Photographic Artists Association (AAFR). 

With the two major sections “open” and “water”, the event received 3,607 entries by 448 artists from 32 countries and territories across the world. 

The host’s two artists Moldovan Mihaly and Gheorghe Petrila won FIAP’s silver and bronze prizes. 

Honourable Mention prizes of FIAP and AAFR were also awarded to artists Hoang Ngoc Thach, Nguyen Quoc Huy , Kieu Tan Tam and Tien Hoanh of Vietnam.
