Five Vietnamese to become FIFA referees next year

The Vietnam Football Federation's Referee Department has registered five people to become FIFA referees for the 2013 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) season.

The Vietnam Football Federation's Referee Department has registered five people to become FIFA referees for the 2013 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) season.

Vo Minh Tri, Vo Quang Vinh and Phung Dinh Dung have made the selection for the second year running.

They are joined by Dinh Van Dung in Dong Nai, a promising young official who has attended AFC courses, and Pham Duc Vu, who has been selected on the basis of his performances throughout the 2012 V-League season.

In addition, seven assistance referees have been included on the registration list.

In women’s category, Mai Hoang Trang and Cong Thi Dung have been registered as referees while Kieu Thi Thuy and Truong Thi Le Trinh have been chosen as assistants.

VFF has also selected Truong Quoc Dung, Hoang Duc Hieu and Le Hung Cuong as referees for futsal and beach football.
