(ĐN)-Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with related agencies held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the organization of National Professional Cai Luong (Reform Theater) Festival.
The event, the first ever of its kind in the province, will take place from October 10 to November 4 at the provincial Conference Centre.
Organised every five years by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the festival aims to highlight new creations in the southern art of cai luong, encourage and support young artists in developing their careers.
Festival organisers said they had received 25 entries in different categories from professional troupes across the country.
