More than 320 badminton players from 28 countries and territories will take part in the Yonex-Sunrise Vietnam Open to be held in Ho Chi Minh City from August 20-26.

More than 320 badminton players from 28 countries and territories will take part in the Yonex-Sunrise Vietnam Open to be held in Ho Chi Minh City from August 20-26.
The athletes will compete in men’s and women’s singles and doubles, and mixed doubles events.
The tournament will attract world top 100 athletes from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Japan.
Among them are Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub (Malaysia), P. Buranaprasersuk (Thailand), Liao Chun Chieh (Taiwan, China), Kim Ki Jung (RoK) and Akbar Panji (Indonesia).
Local supporters continue to have high hopes for top Vietnamese player Nguyen Tien Minh, who ranks 12th in the world.
