The Vietnamese circus team won a gold medal for its item, “De Kiem”, performed by artist Tra My at the 3rd International Circus Festival in Russia from June 26th to July 18th, announced People’s Artist Vu Ngoan Hop, Director of Vietnam Circus Federation, at a recent press conference in Hanoi.

The Vietnamese circus team won a gold medal for its item, “De Kiem”, performed by artist Tra My at the 3rd International Circus Festival in Russia from June 26th to July 18th, announced People’s Artist Vu Ngoan Hop, Director of Vietnam Circus Federation, at a recent press conference in Hanoi.
The 3rd International Circus Festival attracted the participation of 11 countries around the world. Vietnam sent five artists to the festival and their performances left good impression on Russian spectators with a high appreciation by the jury.
The item, “Balance and somersault on steel rope”, by Vietnamese artist Duc Thanh anh Luu Huong also won a silver medal at the festival.
Apart from Tra My’s performance, two performances by Russian artists also won gold medals.
