The six animated movies screened at the Vietnam Cultural Centre in France were produced by Director Ngo Manh Lan. Some of them won high prizes at several international cinema festivals.

Lan’s sketches feature Vietnam’s past resistance wars against French and American aggression and capture the historic moments of militiamen and militiawomen in action and in daily life.

Meanwhile, the paintings by Lam vividly depict the life of Vietnamese rural villages, especially in northern Vietnam.
