General Giap’s memoirs in Korean makes debut

General Vo Nguyen Giap’s memoirs ‘Unforgettable time,’ which were translated into the Korean language by Professor Ahn Kyong Hwan at Chosun University, made its debut on June 25 in the Republic of Korea.

The initial run of copies printed by the ZmanZ Publishing House was 300.

Earlier on March 8, the late President Ho Chi Minh’s prison diary, also translated by Ahn Kyong Hwan, was re-printed for the sixth editor in the Korean language.

Ahn Kyong Hwan has also translated and publicised ‘Kieu’s story’ by Nguyen Du (1765-1820), and ‘Dang Thuy Tram’s diary’ in the Republic of Korea.
