(ĐN)- Dong Nai Journalist Association on Wednesday inaugurated the Nham Thin (Dragon) Spring Newspaper Festival to introduce spring-time publications during the days preceding Tet. The event, held at Dong Nai Library, will take place January 18 to 27.
The festival, showcases more than 781 spring newspaper publications from press agencies inside and outside provinces. In addition to cultural and ethnic features, the spring publications contain profound comments on changes, and the efforts of people in all social issues during 2011. Leaders and citizens also convey their messages of determination, and their hopes, in papers and magazines during this time of year.
At the inauguration ceremony, the organizers granted certificates of merit to 15 collectives for their outstanding publications. The annual festival has become a large cultural event for the newspaper industry and local residents on Tet holidays.
