After 25 rounds, Song Lam Nghe An had three points higher than Hanoi T&T to claim the victory in the final.
Playing on their home turf, Song Lam Nghe An’s striker Fagan opened the scoring in the first half. Hanoi T&T then leveled it in the last minutes of the match.
Coach Nguyen Huu Thang of Song Lam Nghe An said that his team had a convincing win over Hanoi T&T. “We have been waiting for ten years to win the champion title of V-league,” he added.
