(ĐN)- The Vietnamese Family Festival 2011 was recently held in Dong Nai to mark the 10th anniversary of National Family Day (June 28).
The festival aims to honour the traditional values of Vietnamese families and create a forum to share experiences in promoting cultural families towards sustainable development in the current process of industrialisation, modernisation and international integration.
The event, organised by the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, attracted the participation of 44 model families across the province. The participating families had a chance to engage in numerous cultural and sporting activities and cooking competition.
A a result, a total of 51 prizes were handed out to the winners. Long Thanh district’s team won the first prize, followed by teams from Vinh Cuu and Xuan Loc district.
