Focusing on implementing key tasks

In your opinion, what specific orientations does the Dong Nai Provincial Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center have in implementing advertising, investment, trade promotion, and tourism promotion activities in 2026?

In early February 2026, the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee issued Plan No. 67/KH-UBND (referred to as Plan No. 67) on investment, trade and tourism promotion activities, along with business support measures. This plan serves as the foundation for the center to implement promotional programs throughout the year.

Specifically, the center will focus on implementing activities according to the general orientation of Plan No. 67, aiming to promote economic growth, enhance competitiveness, and promote the image of Dong Nai as an attractive destination for investors, trade partners, and tourists. Among these, the center will focus on three major orientations.

Firstly, the center will advise the Provincial People's Committee on targeted investment promotion, prioritizing high-tech industries, supporting industries, logistics, green industry and high-quality services. With its dynamic investment environment, featuring well-developed industrial parks, economic zones, and industrial clusters, Dong Nai continues to attract strong foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows. The future operation of Long Thanh International Airport is expected to create new opportunities and help position the province as a key logistics hub in Southern region and the whole country.

Secondly, the center will boost trade promotion, support businesses in the province to connect trade, expand domestic and export markets, especially for key agricultural products, typical rural industrial products, and items under the One Commune, One Product (OCOP) program. To expand and connect with departments, agencies, and localities in joint implementation, in mid-March 2026, the center organized a Conference to disseminate the content of Plan No. 67, regulations on coordination on investment, trade, and tourism promotion in clusters and areas of communes and wards throughout the province.

Thirdly, the center will strengthen the promotion and introduction of the potential and strengths of tourism resources; build a professional and modern tourism brand, associated with synchronized and effective promotion of images and tourism information. In particular, it will focus on regional linkages to create overall strength, increase competitiveness in tourism service activities, and improve service quality for visitors in tourist areas, attractions, tours, and routes. In addition, the center aims to build an annual and 5-year marketing and local promotion strategy to introduce investment projects, product brands, scenic spots, ecological tourism areas, and the image and people of Dong Nai.

Based on the above orientations, could you share about what key tasks the center will implement in each area of investment, trade, and tourism promotion in 2026?

Regarding investment promotion, the center will fully and promptly implement investment promotion, trade, tourism activities, and business support tasks in accordance with the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Plan No. 67. The center will advise the Provincial People's Committee to proactively coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and localities to effectively organize conferences and seminars on providing information about the investment environment, policy mechanisms, and the list of projects calling for investment in the province, and participate in investment promotion, trade, tourism, and business support events. The center will also advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue policies and guidelines focusing on attracting strategic investors in high-tech industries, supporting industries, logistics, services, and high value-added, environmentally friendly sectors.

Regarding trade promotion, the center will proactively coordinate and organize trade fairs, exhibitions, business matching, supply-demand connections, etc. Through these activities, it will strengthen communication to help people and customers better understand and trust high-quality Vietnamese products, such as: market sessions on bringing Vietnamese goods to rural and border areas; bringing Vietnamese goods to industrial parks and economic zones; supporting the establishment of Vietnamese product sales points, OCOP product sales points, etc. In parallel, the center will enhance support for businesses to participate in major domestic and international trade fairs, connect with distribution systems, supermarkets, and export businesses to expand product consumption markets and increase export turnover.

For tourism promotion, the center will strengthen the promotion and introduction of the province's potential and strengths, and build a professional, modern tourism brand, associated with the synchronized and effective promotion of tourism images and information. In addition, the center will advise the Provincial People's Committee to implement specific contents and solutions, such as: building images, messages, and unique tourism products through maps, newsletters, publications, guidebooks, etc., to highlight ecological, cultural, spiritual, historical, resort, agricultural, and rural tourism. At the same time, the center will focus on developing auxiliary tourism such as: culinary tourism, health care tourism, shopping tourism, etc.

Strengthening business support in the digital environment

In the current context of strong digital transformation, how will the center implement investment, trade, and tourism promotion activities on digital platforms?

Digital transformation is an effective tool and opens up many opportunities for development and innovation in the process of implementing tasks and solutions for investment, trade, tourism promotion, and business support.

Therefore, the center identifies the application of information technology, and provision of information on project lists, investment environment, business support, trade promotion, tourism promotion, etc., on digital platforms as an important solution, contributing to improving efficiency in the process of advising, organizing, and implementing promotion tasks in the coming time.

The center will strengthen coordination with relevant departments, agencies, units, and localities to promote solutions to support associations, cooperatives, cooperative groups, businesses, small traders, farm owners, OCOP entities, and successful farmers to participate in e-commerce floors, online trade, online supply-demand connection conferences, livestreaming to introduce and sell products, etc., to access the market more effectively.

At the same time, the center aims to develop a smart tourism ecosystem, applying technology promote the image, culture, and people of Dong Nai, supporting people to experience smart tourism services, contributing to attracting tourists, enhancing the destination image, and promoting the sustainable development of the tourism industry in the near future.

The Provincial People's Committee's Plan No. 67 aims to strengthen the promotion and introduction of the province's potential and strengths; call for organizations and investors, domestic and foreign enterprises to participate in investment projects, especially in key sectors and industries, creating breakthroughs for the province's economic growth. At the same time, it supports organizations, investors, businesses, and production and business establishments in the province to enhance their competitiveness, seek partners, promote opportunities to supply goods, and maintain and expand distribution networks and product consumption in domestic and international markets.
