Dong Nai Provincial Farmers’ Association has recently held a conference to review its activities in the first quarter and outline key tasks for the second quarter of 2026. Ha Anh Dung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee, attended and delivered directives at the event.
In the first three months of 2026, farmers’ associations at all levels actively renewed their modes of operation, closely linking emulation movements with local political tasks. Across the province, 52,111 households registered for the title of outstanding farmers in production and business at various levels. Notably, the association established a provincial-level club of outstanding farmer-entrepreneurs with 25 members, along with 14 grassroots clubs, thereby creating platforms for experience sharing and advancing digital transformation in agriculture.

Farmers across the province contributed more than VND 1.01 billion, 882 workdays, and 385 square meters of land, and built 27 kilometers of rural traffic roads. In addition, 26 kilometers of irrigation canals were lined, and eight bridges and culverts were repaired, helping improve rural infrastructure.
The conference also signed a cooperation agreement between the association and five Agribank branches, helping members access capital for production development. In addition, 10 presentations from 10 emulation clusters offered diverse perspectives on creative grassroots approaches. Delegates focused their discussions on experience in mobilizing members to join cooperative groups, new-style cooperatives, digital farmers, and the role of outstanding farmer production and business clubs in leading household economic development.
