On March 31, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC) and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Ut along with Deputy Secretary of the PPC Vo Tan Duc and representatives of relevant departments and agencies, conducted a field inspection and working session on site clearance and construction progress at three industrial parks (IPs): Bau Can–Tan Hiep (Phase 1), Xuan Que–Song Nhan (Phase 1), and Long Duc 3.

At present, the Xuan Que–Song Nhan IP, covering 1,000 hectares, still has about 30 hectares of land currently going through compensation procedures, including land origin verification and drafting of compensation plans. Meanwhile, the Bau Can–Tan Hiep IP, also spanning 1,000 hectares, has around 40 hectares in Long Phuoc commune where land origin verification has been completed and compensation plans are being publicly disclosed, while another 35 hectares in Phuoc Thai commune are undergoing similar procedures. As for Long Duc 3 IP, site clearance has largely been completed, and the Provincial People’s Committee has issued decisions on land allocation and leasing.

Regarding rubber tree clearance conducted by Dong Nai Rubber Corporation at these project sites, progress has reached about 60% at Long Duc 3 IP, while the other two IPs have seen much slower implementation.

In addition, several bottlenecks remain in the investment for Provincial Road DT.770B, which runs through Bau Can–Tan Hiep and Xuan Que–Song Nhan IPs, as well as Vu Hong Pho Road connecting to Long Duc 3 IP.

According to the investor, resources are ready to commence construction on the IPs. However, the aforementioned obstacles are affecting timelines for project implementation, operation and the attraction of secondary investors expected in 2027.

The projects are being developed under a model of next-generation, high-quality, green and modern IPs, aligned with both business needs and the province’s investment attraction strategy. To ensure timely and smooth implementation, strong support from provincial authorities, departments and localities is essential.

In his concluding remarks, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Ut emphasized that projects of Long Duc 3, Bau Can–Tan Hiep (Phase 1), and Xuan Que–Song Nhan (Phase 1) IPs, along with their associated infrastructure, play a crucial role in expanding industrial development space, attracting investment, driving economic growth and restructuring the provincial economy for the 2026–2030 period.

The investor plans to start construction on the project on May 9, 2026. To facilitate preparations, the province requires that compensation and site clearance plans for the projects be largely completed by April 15.

Provincial leaders have urged all relevant agencies, units, localities and investors to take immediate, decisive and coordinated action to fully resolve existing obstacles, avoiding prolonged delays. This includes strengthening effective coordination, clearly defining responsibilities at each level and for each individual, particularly those in leadership positions.

Alongside site clearance, issues related to transport connectivity and power supply for the IPs must be accelerated, with appropriate investment solutions to support both construction and long-term operations.
