In line with directions from senior leaders, the National Committee for APEC 2027 has worked with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) to conduct field surveys in several localities, including Dong Nai, in order to assess their capacity to host meetings and seminars within the framework of APEC Year 2027. Preliminary assessments show that Dong Nai is a locality with dynamic economic growth, attracting numerous foreign corporations and enterprises to invest in production. At the same time, its infrastructure system is being developed in a more synchronized manner. The MoFA will compile the survey results and develop a report for submission to the National Committee for APEC 2027 for consideration and decision.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang expressed her appreciation to the delegation for conducting the survey in the province. Provincial leaders assigned the Department of Foreign Affairs to take the lead in providing information and coordinating closely with the delegation during the survey process and other related activities.
Dong Nai, she noted, will mobilize available resources and coordinate with ministries and central agencies to ensure thorough preparations, thereby contributing to the overall success of APEC Year 2027.
