On March 16, the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 906/QD-UBND approving Component Project 1-2 on compensation, support, resettlement, and construction of collector roads and side roads in Dong Nai province, under the under the Investment and Construction Project of Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 4.

Component Project 1-2 has a total investment of over VND10 trillion, of which compensation, support, and resettlement costs are over VND9 trillion, construction costs are nearly VND479 billion, and the maximum implementation period is up to 6 years. The Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board is assigned as the project owner. The project has 2 investment items: construction of collector roads and side roads, along with compensation, support, resettlement, and relocation of technical infrastructure.
Specifically, the construction of collector roads and side roads will involve building collector roads and side roads within Dong Nai province with a total length of nearly 62km, including roads meeting Grade IV road standards, with a total length of nearly 12km, featuring a 7m-wide road surface and a 9m-wide roadbed; roads built according to rural traffic Type A standards, with a total length of nearly 42km, featuring a 5.5m-wide road surface and a 6.5m-wide roadbed; roads meeting rural traffic Type B standards, with a total length of over 8km, featuring a 3.5m-wide road surface and a 5m-wide roadbed. The project also includes the construction of drainage and traffic safety systems.
Under the compensation, support, resettlement, and relocation of technical infrastructure category, one-time land acquisition, compensation, and resettlement support will be conducted according to the completed right-of-way scale of 74.5m, with a total land acquisition area of over 443ha, and an estimated 1,119 households listed for resettlement. Relocation of technical infrastructure includes 110kV, 220kV, 500kV power lines, medium and low voltage electricity, telecommunication cables, water supply pipes, and lighting within the project area.
The Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 4 project was approved in principle by the National Assembly in June 2025. The full route spans about 159 kilometers, passing through the provinces of Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City. Phase 1 of the project has a total investment of over VND120 trillion and is invested under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
Within Dong Nai, the route stretches more than 46 kilometers, with a total investment exceeding VND26 trillion. The project is divided into 2 component projects, including Component project 1-2 on the compensation, support, resettlement, and construction of collector roads and side roads (using local budget funds); and Component project 2-2 on the construction of the road with a total investment of over VND 16.2 trillion, implemented under the PPP method.
