Dong Nai approves architectural design competition results for political–administrative center

Member of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Ha has signed Decision No. 882/QD-UBND dated March 11, 2026 approving the results of the architectural design competition for the Dong Nai provincial political–administrative center.

Accordingly, no entries were awarded first or second prizes in the competition. Instead, three proposals were recognized with third prizes. These include entry coded N868 submitted by a consortium comprising Nikken Sekkei Ltd, Vietnam Investment Consulting and Construction Designing Joint Stock Company (CDC) and National General Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company (NAGECCO). Another third-prize proposal, entry coded D088, was submitted by a consortium of GMP International GMBH (GMP) and VCC Engineering Consultants Joint Stock Company (VCC). The third proposal, entry coded A175, was developed by a consortium consisting of Encity International Consulting Joint Stock Company, PT Studio Rancang Urban Selaras and Nha Vui Architecture Construction Joint Stock Company. Following the announcement of the results, the provincial Department of Construction has been assigned to carry out the next steps.

The Dong Nai political–administrative center is planned to be located in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, which is currently undergoing functional conversion. According to the competition regulations, the center will cover an area of about 40 hectares. The project is expected to contribute to reshaping the province’s urban landscape and architectural identity.

According to the Provincial People’s Committee, the architectural design competition was organized to seek and choose the most optimal design solution, making full use of the site’s potential and advantages while ensuring harmonious integration with the overall urban architecture of the Bien Hoa 1 service urban area and the province’s new political–administrative center.

The winning project is also expected to ensure harmony between architectural works and the surrounding river landscape. The goal is to develop a modern, centralized and professional political–administrative center with synchronized technical infrastructure. In addition, the new center must meet the requirements of the fourth industrial revolution and digital transformation, facilitating the effective administration of the province’s socio-economic development and improving public services.
