On February 27, the Road Management Office IV.2, Road Management Area IV issued Notice No. 07/TB-VPQLĐB IV.2 regarding the public disclosure of expressway toll collection information for using the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet and Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressways.

Accordingly, for the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway, the toll rate applied according to Document No. 2248/BXD-CDBVN, dated February 25, 2026, from the Ministry of Construction, is 1,300 VND per km for vehicles traveling on this expressway. The toll collection will be carried out under a closed-loop toll system, using non-stop electronic toll collection (ETC) technology, with barrier-free multi-lane ETC entry and single-lane, barrier-controlled exit. The toll collection is expected to begin in March 2026.
Also according to this notice, subjects eligible for toll exemptions and reductions will comply with the provisions of Article 6 of Decree No. 130/2024/NĐ-CP dated October 10, 2024, of the Government.
Previously, the Ministry of Construction had sent a document to the Department for Roads of Vietnam approving the expressway toll rate for the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway as proposed by the Department for Roads of Vietnam.
The Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway is part of the eastern North-South Expressway Project in 2017-2020 period. This is a publicly owned expressway, with the State representing the owner and directly managing and operating it. This expressway has a length of approximately 99km, passing through the two provinces of Lam Dong and Dong Nai. Of which, the section traversing Dong Nai province is more than 51km long.
The project was launched in late September 2020. This expressway was invested and built in accordance with Class A expressway standards, with a design speed of 120 km/h. The phased construction includes a complete 4-lane scale, with a total adjusted investment of over 12.5 trillion VND. As of April 29, 2023, the main route of this project was opened to traffic and put into operation.
