On the morning of February 2, at the Vietnam Exposition Centre in Ha Noi, the first Vietnam Glorious Spring Fair 2026 officially opened, creating a vibrant convergence of trade, culture, and development aspirations during the 12 peak days of Tet shopping.
Attending the opening ceremony were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, leaders of central ministries and agencies, local authorities, representatives of international organizations, diplomatic missions, industry associations, and the domestic and international business community.
With the theme “Connecting Prosperity – Welcoming a Glorious Spring”, Spring Fair 2026 is organized under the direction of the Government and chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The event serves as a national-level trade promotion activity launching the annual fair series, while also highlighting efforts to stimulate consumer demand, develop the domestic market, and promote Vietnamese brands during the Lunar New Year.

A strategic lever to activate the domestic market
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said the first Spring Fair 2026 is not only a large-scale trade event but also an important “running start” expected to ignite the domestic consumer market. He described the fair as generating “new momentum” to inspire labor, production, and business activities, while serving as a “strategic lever” to drive breakthrough development from the very first days of 2026.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the fair continues to affirm its distinctive values as a space where traditional cultural identity intersects with contemporary creativity, offering a variety of cultural, culinary, and experiential activities for people to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet. At the same time, it serves as a venue that gathers the finest Vietnamese goods according to the “six best” criteria, thereby strongly promoting the spirit of “Vietnamese people prioritize Vietnamese goods” and resolutely rejecting low-quality products of unclear origin.
Taking place from February 2 to 13, the fair brings together more than 2,500 enterprises with around 3,000 booths, held within a modern exhibition space spanning over 100,000 square meters. Eight thematic zones are curated as a “Journey across Viet Nam in Spring,” where economic, cultural, and creative values converge: from agricultural products, OCOP items, and consumer goods to supporting industries, and from zones celebrating Vietnamese cultural excellence to special art programs featuring renowned artists.
Beyond a shopping venue, Spring Fair 2026 also serves as a platform to powerfully promote the image of “Made in Vietnam,” reinforce the campaign encouraging Vietnamese people to prioritize domestic products, and reflect a dynamic, globally integrated, and culturally rich Viet Nam at the start of the new year.
Dong Nai: A Mark of proactive integration and aspiration to go further
Within this national-scale connectivity space, Dong Nai presents itself as confident, modern, and full of potential. Participating in Spring Fair 2026, Dong Nai features 15 outstanding enterprises, including eight companies directly exhibiting and seven submitting products, representing the industries of agriculture, high-tech agriculture, processed foods, and the locality's distinctive OCOP products.

According to Nguyen Van Linh, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, the province’s shared booth covers about 200 square meters. It is designed with an open, cohesive, and modern layout that blends a fresh spring atmosphere with the dynamic spirit of a developed industrial–service–agricultural locality.
“Images showcasing Dong Nai’s socio-economic achievements, investment potential, and sustainable development orientation are vividly presented, attracting strong interest from visitors and partners,” Nguyen Van Linh said.

A key highlight is the presence of exemplary enterprises, cooperatives, and OCOP producers. Each product is not just a commodity but a story of land, people, and strategies to enhance added value, targeting both domestic and export markets. Through the fair, many Dong Nai enterprises gain opportunities to connect with partners, expand markets, and gradually integrate more deeply into national and international value chains.
Liu Thi Yen, Deputy Director of Thuan Huong Production and Trading Company Limited, said: “Participating in Spring Fair 2026 helps Thuan Huong expand its market, connect with partners, and promote products to a wide range of consumers. This occasion is a motivation for the company to be more confident in production and business from the very first days of the year.”
Beyond exhibition activities, Dong Nai’s participation in Spring Fair 2026 clearly demonstrates its proactive spirit of integration in national-level trade promotion efforts. Through trade exchanges, business connectivity, and image promotion, Dong Nai continues to affirm its position as a dynamic growth pole, accompanying businesses and staying ready to seize new cooperation opportunities in the next phase of development.
“Spring Fair 2026 also plays an important bridging role in facilitating trade flows, effectively connecting domestic and international resources, opening up many opportunities for investment cooperation, innovation, green transition, and digital transformation, while enabling Vietnamese enterprises to participate more deeply in regional and global value chains,” Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized.
