Construction of resettlement area in Dau Giay commune expected to start in May 2026

According to the Dong Nai Provincial Land Fund Development Center, construction of the resettlement area in Dau Giay commune is expected to begin in May 2026.

For this project, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center has so far conducted construction surveys, prepared construction drawing designs, cost estimates, and carried out mine clearance.

The center has also developed a detailed plan for implementing and disbursing the project's 2026 capital plan, including monthly disbursement amounts and clearly assigned responsibilities for personnel responsible for execution and inspection. In 2026, the planned capital allocation for the Resettlement Area Project in Dau Giay commune is 120 billion VND.

The resettlement area in Dau Giay commune is being invested in and developed to accommodate households affected by the implementation of key provincial and nationally significant projects, especially those passing through Dau Giay commune and neighboring areas.

In February 2025, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision approving the Resettlement Area Project in Dau Giay commune. The project covers nearly 46 hectares and includes comprehensive technical infrastructure investments, including traffic roads, water supply and drainage systems, power supply and lighting systems, technical trenches, and wastewater treatment facilities.

The Resettlement Area Project in Dau Giay commune has a total investment of more than 530 billion VND, sourced from the provincial budget (including land auction revenue). Of this figure, more than 20.6 billion VND is allocated for compensation, support, and resettlement. The project is scheduled for implementation over a maximum of four years from the date of capital allocation. The project investor is the Provincial Land Fund Development Center.
