Once completed and put into operation, the project is expected to help ease congestion on National Highway 51 and further complete the transport network in the Southern region, thereby creating more favorable connectivity between Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City. Notably, the expressway will also play an important role in effectively supporting the future operations of Long Thanh International Airport.
