Accordingly, during the 4-day break for the 2026 New Year holiday (from January 1 to 4, 2026), on the project site, contractors continued to maintain construction teams with about 130 equipment, machinery, and nearly 300 engineers and workers.

To date, the total construction output of the project has reached over 1.2 trillion VND, achieving 63% of the contract value. Specifically, package 26 (construction of the section from the beginning of the route to the intersection of provincial road 25C) has achieved 49% of the contract value; package 29 (construction of the section from the intersection of provincial road 25C to the intersection of provincial road 25B) has achieved 68% of the contract value; package 32 (section from the intersection of provincial road 25B to the end of the route) has achieved 67% of the contract value.

Component Project 3, Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road 3 Project section through Dong Nai province has a length of over 11km (excluding Component Project 1A); the starting point of the route is at Km0+000 in Phuoc An commune, Dong Nai province; the ending point of the route is at Nhon Trach bridge in Nhon Trach commune, Dong Nai province. Accordingly, for Component Project 3, a 5-km expressway section from Km0+000 to Km5+000 will be constructed, connecting with Component Project 1A at the intersection with Provincial Road 25B. At the same time, parallel roads will be built along both sides of the expressway for the entire section from Km0+000 to the beginning of Nhon Trach Bridge, including 2 Rach Chay river overpasses on the parallel road.

Currently, for the approximately 5-km main expressway section, contractors have completed 3 out of 5km of asphalt concrete pavement; the full 5km of crushed stone base course; and 100% of subgrade filling. For the parallel road, 100% of K95 subgrade filling has been completed; crushed stone base has reached nearly 7km; and asphalt concrete pavement has reached nearly 2km. On December 19, 2025, the main expressway section of the project was officially opened to technical traffic.
