On the morning of January 14, a working delegation from the Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade held meetings with local authorities, commercial centers, and supermarket systems in northern communes and wards of the province to review the balancing of essential goods supply and demand for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026. Joining the delegation were leaders of the Provincial People’s Council’s Economic and Budget Committee.
The delegation held working sessions with the People’s Committee of Binh Phuoc Ward, Dong Xoai Market, and Co.op Mart Dong Xoai. During the meetings, they reviewed the stockpiling of goods for the 2026 Lunar New Year, prices of essential commodities, and price listing practices. The delegation also inspected preparations related to supply sources, sales plans, and price stabilization programs at supermarkets and business establishments.

According to relevant units, as of now, the supply of goods across the province remains generally abundant and diverse in categories, effectively meeting consumer demand during the Lunar New Year. Enterprises and supermarkets have proactively launched various promotional programs, contributing to stimulating consumption and stabilizing market prices.
The working delegation of the Department of Industry and Trade requested that local authorities and business units continue to closely monitor market developments, proactively prepare reserve plans to prevent shortages or sudden price hikes, while strengthening coordination in market inspection and control to ensure product quality, food safety, and consumer rights.

The delegation’s activities are among the key solutions aimed at ensuring a stable goods market, fully meeting public shopping demand, and contributing to a joyful, safe, and economical Lunar New Year for residents.
According to a representative of the Department of Industry and Trade, in implementation of Official Dispatch No. 12680/UBND-KTNS dated December 25, 2025, on solutions to ensure balanced supply and demand and market stabilization at the end of 2025 and during the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026, the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to work with People’s Committees of several communes and wards, commercial centers, supermarkets, and selected markets across the province on balancing the supply and demand of essential goods.
