Attending the conference were leaders of the Dong Nai Economic and Industrial Zones Authority (DEIZA); representatives of several departments, agencies, and enterprises operating in Dong Nai province; and leaders of the Ehime Prefectural Department of Economy and Labour.
The conference welcomed the participation of 13 typical enterprises from Ehime prefecture, including five companies that introduced a wide range of distinctive products and technologies in fields such as environmentally friendly construction materials, food processing equipment and machinery, treatment and sterilization technologies, and high-quality consumer goods. These sectors are well aligned with Vietnam’s production needs and market demand, offering substantial potential for cooperation with enterprises in Dong Nai province.
In addition to product presentations, the conference provided an overview of the province’s investment environment, highlighting its well-developed industrial park system, synchronized transport infrastructure, and increasingly favorable investment attraction policies. Notably, following the administrative unit consolidation process and the operation of Long Thanh International Airport, Dong Nai province now enjoys expanded development space, associated with a strong industrial–logistics–services foundation. These conditions are conducive to the formation of large-scale production, supply, and consumption chains, in line with the strengths of enterprises from Ehime prefecture.
Pham Viet Phuong, Deputy Head in charge of DEIZA, on behalf of the provincial leadership, extended a warm welcome to the Ehime prefecture delegation and the business communities of both localities attending the conference, while introducing Dong Nai’s potential, advantages, and investment attraction policies.
Pham Viet Phuong noted that cooperation between Dong Nai province and Ehime prefecture was officially established with the signing of the first Memorandum of Understanding on January 17, 2018. This important document demonstrates the commitment of both sides to promoting cooperation in areas such as industry, supporting industries, human resource training, trade promotion, and supply chain linkage projects.
Dong Nai province and Ehime on prefecture are both industrialized regions with strong foundations, placing strong emphasis on quality, efficiency, and sustainable development. Enterprises from both sides share many similarities and complementary strengths in sectors such as processing industries, precision engineering, high-tech agriculture, supporting industries, and the green economy.
Dong Nai province reaffirmed its commitment to accompanying investors by creating an open and transparent investment environment, continuing administrative procedure reforms, and providing timely and practical support to enterprises, including Japanese enterprises and those from Ehime prefecture, to ensure their confidence in making long-term, sustainable investments, production, and business operations in the locality.
