Enhancing intellectual property awareness for startups

On December 4, the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology organized a conference to raise awareness about intellectual property, including registration, protection, enforcement, and commercial exploitation of intellectual assets, for businesses in general and startups in particular.

The conference aimed to enhance businesses’ understanding of Vietnam’s and international intellectual property systems, and to provide guidance on the procedures for registering rights to trademarks, industrial designs, inventions, and utility models. It also aimed to strengthen the capacity for rights protection and enforcement, reduce violations, disputes, and legal risks, and support startups in developing intellectual property strategies aligned with their business and innovation strategies.
