E-commerce training to support OCOP sales through online business

On December 2, the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai province organized an e-commerce training conference to support sales of the One Commune - One Product (OCOP) program through online business in Dong Nai province.

Attending the conference were Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai province Tran Duong Hung; Dr. Pham Dinh Thuong, former Deputy Director of the Department of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, member of the Senior Advisory Council of the Vietnam E-commerce Association and representatives of enterprises in the province.

In his opening speech, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Tran Duong Hung said: In recent years, the OCOP Program has become an important driving force to promote the rural economy, enhance local values ​​and help local products reach broader markets. Along with that, e-commerce is developing strongly, opening up many new opportunities for enterprises, cooperatives and OCOP entities to reach customers more quickly, widely, and effectively.

In 2026, it is forecasted that the trend of online consumption, especially livestream sales, will continue to grow rapidly. This is not only a sales channel but also a channel for brand building, telling product stories and connecting with consumers in a genuine and vivid way. Through the program, the leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade hope that businesses and OCOP entities can grasp trends, improve skills, confidently apply technology, enhance competitiveness and especially elevate Dong Nai products in the domestic and international markets.

At the conference, representatives of enterprises, cooperatives and OCOP entities were introduced to the following contents: Overview of the OCOP Program and e-commerce opportunities; Online sales trends; Instructions on operating booths, livestream setup techniques; Skills in preparing content, images, and communication scripts for effective livestreaming; Introduction of policies and regulations on livestreaming and e-commerce to help businesses operate legally and safely.
