In his remarks, Standing Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Kim Long emphasized that the core task of the Steering Committee is to help the province develop and implement effective support measures, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises, enabling them to develop.
He noted that business associations are expected to provide an overall perspective on emerging issues and bottlenecks. Meanwhile, sector-based associations should reflect the real challenges faced by production and business enterprises. These inputs will serve as a basis for departments and agencies to advise the Provincial People’s Committee to solve issues, while also acting as a bridge to ensure that support policies reach individual businesses effectively.
He also emphasized the need for departments and agencies to coordinate with functional forces to focus on combating counterfeit and substandard goods, especially during the holiday and Lunar New Year period. Strengthening efforts to fight commercial fraud is also seen as a key solution to support law-abiding businesses and serious production, enhance competitiveness, and contribute greater economic resources to the province.
