In recent months, following directives from the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to accelerate the project’s implementation, the Project Management Board has inspected, reviewed, and revised the project’s deployment plan.

The Provincial Road 769 upgrade and expansion project spans nearly 30 kilometers, starting at the intersection with National Highway 1 at Dau Giay crossroads in Dau Giay commune, Dong Nai province, and ending at the intersection with National Highway 51 at Loc An crossroads in Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province. The project is divided into four sections. Sections 1, 3, and 4 will feature six lanes for motorized vehicles and two mixed-use lanes, whereas Section 2 is designed with six lanes exclusively for motorized vehicles.

Dong Nai Province is implementing this project to improve connectivity and decrease travel time between localities within the province, as well as between the Central Highlands and south-central provinces with Long Thanh International Airport. It is expected to meet transportation demands, reduce traffic congestion on National Highway 1, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of local communities along the route, as well as Dong Nai province and the Southern Key Economic Region as a whole.

The total investment for the Provincial Road 769 upgrade and expansion project is nearly 5.9 trillion VND, with more than 3 trillion VND allocated for compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance. The project will be carried out in Dau Giay, Binh An, and Long Thanh communes in Dong Nai province, with a total land area of over 134 hectares to be acquired for the project.

Regarding land acquisition, compensation, and site clearance, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board has handed over the on-site boundary markers to the Provincial Land Development Center to proceed with implementation.
