The Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee has issued Decision No. 2846/QD-UBND approving the Communication Project on Raising Awareness of Collective Economy and Cooperatives in Dong Nai Province for the 2026-2030 period.

The project identifies communication and awareness-raising efforts on collective economy and cooperatives as a pivotal task, aimed at fostering a strong and sustainable collective economic sector. This contributes to economic development, ensures social welfare and helps maintain political security and social order across the province.

Communication, information dissemination and awareness-raising tasks regarding the collective economy and cooperatives are responsibilities of Party committees, authorities and the entire political system, with the Cooperative Alliance system serving as the core force.

The approval of the project aims to innovate communication formats and enhance the quality of information and outreach activities; integrate traditional media with modern, digital communication; and effectively leverage the strengths of social networks and mass media to ensure broad dissemination of key messages.

The project emphasizes that communication and information efforts must contribute to developing the collective economy in both scale and quality, ensuring balanced growth across all sectors, fields and localities; and prioritizing the development of collective economic organizations aligned with fostering green economy, circular economy, knowledge economy and the effective utilization of the province’s strengths and potential.

Through effective communication, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance will continue to grow stronger, serving as the representative body that protects the lawful rights and interests of collective economic organizations, acting as the core driver advancing the collective economy and functioning as a vital bridge between the Party, the State and the collective economic sector, contributing to Dong Nai’s socio-economic development mission.

The project also outlines key targets for 2026, including: ensuring that 70% of managers, members and workers of active cooperatives in the province are informed and updated on the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws regarding the development of the collective economy, cooperatives and the 2023 Cooperative Law; developing a dedicated software (app) for cooperatives and their members (compatible with mobile devices) to provide access to legal and policy documents on the collective economy; organizing seven training courses to update knowledge supporting the development of the collective economy and cooperatives for 500 provincial and communal-level management personnel; and producing 24 thematic articles, three documentary features and two talk shows on the collective economy and cooperatives for Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television.

In addition, the province aims to ensure that by 2030, 70% of cooperatives achieve good or fairly good ratings and that 100% of communication personnel at all levels receive training and updated professional skills related to communication on the collective economy and cooperatives.
