Over VND 314 billion in competition and support for the implementation of the Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot – Chon Thanh expressway

On November 20, according to the Dong Nai Provincial Land Fund Development Center, to date, the Center has compensation and support plans for 153 land plots, totaling over 58 hectares, that are part of the Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot – Chon Thanh Expressway project in the province. The total amount of compensation and support exceeds VND 314 billion.

The Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot – Chon Thanh expressway project spans nearly 60 km in total, with approximately 7 km passing through Dong Nai province. This expressway plays a role in connecting the Southeastern Region, driving local development momentum, and opening new spaces for growth. Moreover, once Gia Nghia – Chon Thanh expressway is completed the two expressways will form a transport axis connecting the Central Highlands, enhancing regional connectivity, boosting socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, and local security.

To carry out the project section passing through the province, Dong Nai must recover 272 land plots, totaling more than 74 hectares, located in Chon Thanh ward and Nha Bich commune. The task of compensation and site clearance for this section has been assigned to the Chon Thanh branch of the Land Fund Development Center.

To date, the Chon Thanh branch of the Land Fund Development Center, in coordination with authorities and localities, has completed notifying landowners of the land recovery, as well as measuring, inventorying, and counting the land plots.
