In addition to its role in connecting and supporting the RoK business community in Vietnam, KOCHAM Vietnam has also been actively engaged in social and community development programs, contributing to local socio-economic growth, including in Dong Nai. Along with sharing updates on the RoK enterprises’ operations in Vietnam and Dong Nai, Kim Nyoun Ho raised several issues concerning policies on on-the-spot import-export and value-added tax (VAT) refunds related to such activities.

According to Kim Nyoun Ho, recent adjustments in Vietnam’s policies on on-the-spot import-export and VAT refunds have created difficulties for some RoK businesses, affecting their refund progress. From these challenges, Kim Nyoun Ho and the RoK businesses in Dong Nai expressed their hope that the Provincial leadership, relevant departments and sectors would consider solutions to address these issues promptly, thereby facilitating smoother operations and encouraging further RoK investment in Dong Nai in the coming time.
