While in Phu Tho Province, Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Head of the province’s National Assembly delegation, expressed solidarity with provinces and cities affected by recent storms and floods, including Phu Tho Province. With the desire to help Phu Tho quickly recover from the disaster, Dong Nai contributed VND 10 billion to local recovery efforts and an additional VND 2 billion to support families of provincial public security officers impacted by the disaster. He reaffirmed Dong Nai’s commitment to deepening cooperation and strengthening long-term ties between the two provinces.

He said Phu Tho’s proactive preparedness helped minimize the impact of recent storms and floods. He noted that Dong Nai’s contribution would provide timely support for the province’s recovery. On behalf of the provincial leadership, he extended his best wishes to the Party Organization, government, and people of Dong Nai for sustained growth and success, adding that the two provinces are poised to expand collaboration, exchange expertise, and build on their strong, long-term partnership.

During his visit to Lao Cai Province to deliver disaster relief, Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Head of the province’s National Assembly delegation, said that after Storm No. 10 caused widespread damage across the country, the Dong Nai Provincial Fatherland Front Committee launched a province-wide campaign to support affected communities. Within a month, the initiative raised more than VND 84 billion from individuals and organizations to assist ten provinces hardest hit by flooding. On this occasion, Dong Nai contributed VND 7 billion to Lao Cai for its recovery efforts, including VND 1 billion to support officers and soldiers of the Lao Cai Provincial Public Security.

Briefing the Dong Nai delegation, Trinh Viet Hung, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, noted that Lao Cai has been among the localities most severely affected by recent flooding. The circulation of Storm No. 10 alone caused extensive damage to lives and property, with total losses exceeding VND 2.75 trillion. He highlighted that, throughout the disasters, the entire political system responded swiftly to coordinate relief and recovery efforts, while local armed forces and officials worked tirelessly to evacuate residents, protect property, and support post-flood restoration.
Trinh Viet Hung expressed his sincere gratitude for the care and support of the officials and people of Dong Nai Province, whose solidarity and encouragement have helped residents in disaster-affected areas, particularly in Lao Cai Province, to overcome difficulties and restore stability to their lives.

At a meeting with the leadership of Tuyen Quang Province, Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of Dong Nai’s National Assembly delegation, shared the difficulties and losses suffered by the people of Tuyen Quang due to Storm No. 10. He also expressed the spirit of solidarity and mutual support between the two provinces. He affirmed that the Party Organization, government, and people of Dong Nai always stand with the Northern communities, particularly those in the border province of Tuyen Quang, with a view to supporting the province in swiftly recovering from the disaster and restoring stability to local livelihoods.

On this occasion, the Dong Nai provincial delegation contributed 10 billion VND to support Tuyen Quang Province in recovering from the damage caused by Storm No. 10 and the subsequent floods. The delegation also provided 1 billion VND to assist families of public security officers affected by the disasters, donated 15 computer sets to schools in Nam Dan, Trung Thinh, and Quang Nguyen communes, and supplied 40 computer sets to schools in Minh Xuan Ward, Tuyen Quang Province.

He affirmed that this assistance is highly meaningful, reflecting the spirit of unity and mutual support between provinces, and contributes to helping Tuyen Quang overcome the aftermath of natural disasters and stabilize production and people’s livelihoods. He also provided a brief update on the severe damage caused by the disasters, ongoing recovery efforts in Tuyen Quang, and the province’s socio-economic development as well as national defense and security situation.

At the event, on behalf of the Party, government, and people of Dong Nai Province, Vu Hong Van granted 10 billion VND to support Thai Nguyen Province in overcoming the impact of natural disasters. In addition, Dong Nai Province contributed 1 billion VND to support the public security officers in Thai Nguyen whose homes were damaged by the storms and floods.

Representing the Party Organization, government, and people of Thai Nguyen Province, Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, conveyed his sincere appreciation for the concern shown by Dong Nai Province. The aftermath of Storm No. 11 caused severe damage to Thai Nguyen, with estimated losses exceeding 12 trillion VND. However, thanks to the attention of Party and State leaders, timely support from the military and police, prompt assistance from other provinces, political and social organizations, and businesses, as well as the province’s own efforts, people’s lives have gradually stabilized, agricultural production is recovering, while industrial output is steadily expanding.
