At the same time, following the directive of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Committee has instructed relevant agencies to promptly complete legal procedures, to begin construction on approximately 18 new social housing projects by the end of 2025 and in the first quarter of 2026, totaling more than 15,100 units.
Dong Nai has a high demand for social housing, particularly in central wards and communes with large industrial zones. For the 2021–2030 period, the province, including the former Binh Phuoc province, has been tasked by the Prime Minister with completing more than 66,700 social housing units, of which over 4,200 must be completed by 2025.

In August and September 2025, more than 10 social housing projects with a combined scale of over 10,000 apartments were launched or broke ground across the province. These developments are expected to provide a significant supply of affordable housing to the market in 2026 and 2027.
