Numerous large-scale trade promotion programs
Dong Nai province is stepping up efforts to implement various activities that support enterprises, cooperatives, and OCOP (One Commune, One Product) participants in participating in major trade promotion events during the year-end months. A highlight is the Southeastern Region – Dong Nai Outstanding Rural Industrial Products Fair 2025, held from November 24 to 30 as part of the 2025 National Industrial Promotion Program.
The fair features 250 booths showcasing and promoting typical rural and industrial products from Dong Nai as well as from other provinces and cities across the country, including Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang, Ca Mau, Gia Lai, Quang Tri, Tay Ninh, and more.
In 2025, Hoang Phu’s salted roasted cashews were among six Dong Nai products honored as national-level typical rural and industrial products. Hoang Dao, Deputy Director of Hoang Phu Cashew Co., Ltd. (located in Loc Tan commune, Dong Nai province), said that by participating in the Southeastern Region – Dong Nai Outstanding Rural Industrial Products Fair 2025, the company aims to connect its products, especially its four-star OCOP items, including wood-roasted cashews and wood-roasted cashews with garlic and chili, to potential markets nationwide. The event also provides an opportunity to showcase signature products such as fresh cashews and freshly roasted konia nuts directly at the fair.
Pham Van Cuong, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade, stated that the Southeastern Region – Dong Nai Outstanding Rural Industrial Products Fair 2025 will open up new opportunities and yield positive results for industrial promotion and investment promotion activities, contributing to the economic development of Dong Nai province in particular and the country as a whole. Through this fair, Dong Nai aims to work with other provinces and cities in the region to strengthen regional connections, enhance production value chain linkages, and expand markets for rural and industrial products.
Organizing and participating in large-scale fairs and exhibitions, particularly national-level programs focused on industrial promotion and trade, will create numerous opportunities for the province’s key products to capitalize on their potential in attracting investment, trade, and service activities locally.
Nguyen Van Linh, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, shared that during the year-end period, the center will continue implementing activities to support enterprises, production facilities, cooperatives, and OCOP participants in the province to take part in trade promotion programs both within and outside the province. Among these is the 2025 Supply-Demand Connection Program between Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces, scheduled for mid-December. The event will focus on the OCOP and regional specialty product week, along with a supply-demand connection conference and a series of activities aimed at promoting the consumption of Vietnamese products, expanding domestic markets, and strengthening sustainable production, distribution, and consumption linkages.
In the coming period, the Dong Nai Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center will provide enhanced support for local enterprises and OCOP participants in product promotion, brand development, and integrating their products into distribution and retail chains both within and outside the province.

Promoting and connecting consumer markets for Tet-season products
Year-end fairs and trade connection conferences offer enterprises, cooperatives, and OCOP participants in Dong Nai the opportunity to expand their markets, establish distribution channels and consumer partnerships, and promote their products ahead of the upcoming Lunar New Year.
Pham Van Hieu, Director of Hoang Anh Cooperative (Binh Phuoc ward, Dong Nai province), shared that alongside the cooperative’s key products, such as its four-star OCOP cashew cakes in original cashew and durian flavors, the cooperative will actively promote and connect partners and markets for new cashew-based products, including cashew fruit fish sauce and cashew caramel syrup during the upcoming Lunar New Year.
Similarly, Le Cao Thang, owner of Hoa Sen Condiment Facility (Binh Loc ward, Dong Nai province), shared that the facility will intensify efforts to promote and introduce its OCOP products, signature items, and Tet gift products for the upcoming Lunar New Year. At the same time, the facility will focus on leveraging the strengths and potential of e-commerce to bring its products closer to consumers, thereby enhancing the brand and product value of the facility, as well as the province’s OCOP products in general.
In today’s competitive landscape, trade promotion plays a vital role in enhancing the profile of local OCOP products and supporting enterprises, cooperatives, and production facilities across the province in building their brands and expanding market reach. Many local businesses and cooperatives hope for more opportunities to connect with consumers, promote their products, and broaden their distribution channels.
Vu Tien Nang, representative of Tien Nang Minh Tam Pepper Production Facility (Minh Duc commune, Dong Nai province), shared that the facility’s organic pepper products have been certified as three-star OCOP. Currently, its primary market is located in the southern region. The facility aims to participate in trade fairs and exhibitions to strengthen its brand and expand into new markets nationwide.
