At the working session, the People’s Committee of Tran Bien ward reported that the riverside road along the Dong Nai River is nearing completion. However, the connecting roads leading to the riverside route have not yet been invested in or built in a synchronized manner. Therefore, the locality proposed implementing investment projects to upgrade these connecting roads.
At the same time, regarding the funeral home construction project in Tran Bien ward, the ward has adjusted the size of the land allocated for the project to approximately 3 hectares. At the end of June 2025, the Provincial People’s Committee issued a decision approving the planning. Tran Bien ward proposed that the project be implemented under a mixed investment model, combining public investment capital with socialized funding, through a bidding process to select an investor. The People’s Committee of Tran Bien ward also requested that the Provincial People’s Committee direct relevant departments and sectors to provide support so the project can begin construction as soon as possible.
Regarding the Bien Hung Park Expansion Project, given the significant investment required, estimated at over VND 1 trillion, Tran Bien ward proposed that the Provincial People’s Committee consider including the project in the list of medium-term public investment projects for the 2026–2030 period to enable its implementation.
Delivering the concluding remarks, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Ha emphasized that Tran Bien is a key ward and serves as the political and administrative center of Dong Nai province. Therefore, investing in social infrastructure to meet residents’ needs, as well as urban beautification, is essential.
The Provincial People’s Committee agreed in principle with the proposed projects to build a funeral home and expand Bien Hung Park. Regarding the Bien Hung Park Expansion Project, the Department of Finance was tasked with reviewing the necessary conditions for including the project in the 2026–2030 medium-term public investment plan.
At the same time, the Department of Finance was tasked with reviewing and supporting Tran Bien ward in proposing an investment model for the funeral home project, either through a public-private partnership (PPP) or a socialized investment approach.
