Year-end "sprint" production - resilience and confidence

14:44, 16/10/2025

The final months of the year are always the economy’s "sprint" period, when the production pace at many enterprises accelerates sharply to fulfill annual targets and build momentum for the year ahead.

In Dong Nai, a province with over 70,000 active enterprises, ranging from sewing lines and wood workshops to processing plants, the production atmosphere is vibrant and urgent across the board. Every enterprise is pursuing a "dual" objective: fulfilling output targets while ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and maintaining credibility with both domestic and international partners.

Therefore, many production lines operate at full capacity, workers work overtime, and leaders closely monitor each order to ensure efficiency. This hustle is not only to meet the deadline, but also demonstrates the will to overcome difficulties and the steadfast spirit of Vietnamese enterprises in the midst of global competition.

Notably, businesses are no longer merely "running orders" to stay on schedule as they are undergoing a profound shift in development mindset, upgrading technology, improving product designs, and placing greater emphasis on "green" elements in production to meet the stringent standards of international markets. This flexible adaptation is a clear testament to an integration mindset grounded in capability and quality, rather than driven solely by opportunity.

Vietnam’s economic outlook for 2025 is showing promising signs, with GDP growth in the first nine months rising by 7.85%, the highest level in 14 years. This data reflects a stable economic operation, with significant contributions from businesses and the strategic vision of the entrepreneurial community.

However, businesses continue to face considerable challenges stemming from global uncertainties, including intense trade competition, rising input costs, and the risks of supply chain disruptions. In this context, the State’s role as a facilitator becomes increasingly vital, from improving the investment climate and effectively leveraging free trade agreements (FTAs), to connecting domestic and foreign enterprises and boosting domestic consumption. When policies create favorable conditions, businesses gain stronger motivation to innovate, be creative, and expand their reach.

With nearly two months remaining until the end of 2025, the hum of engines in factories continues day and night. It is not just the sound of production, but the rhythm of belief in a successful year of manufacturing, business, integration, and development. And of course, that journey is not driven by luck, but by the hands and minds of workers and the long-term vision of Vietnamese enterprises today.
