Accordingly, the farmers' unions at all levels have intensified communication and mobilized farmers to participate in building new-style rural areas through various practical activities and initiatives. As a result, the unions have mobilized their members to contribute more than 209 billion VND, donate over 147,000 square meters of land, and provide over 67,000 workdays to help construct and repair 972 kilometers of rural roads, reinforce 448 kilometers of irrigation canals, and build 128 new bridges and drainage systems. Additionally, they have helped construct more than 1,000 rural power facilities and participated in the construction and renovation of nearly 34,800 medical and educational facilities, while maintaining 177 rural environmental protection models. Farmers’ participation in developing rural infrastructure has become a driving force for promoting trade, boosting production, improving living standards, and facilitating economic and labor restructuring, thereby attracting businesses to invest in rural areas.
The movement “All people unite to build cultural life” has also been widely implemented. Farmers' unions have encouraged their members to cultivate family values and practice civilized behavior at weddings, funerals, and festivals. The movement has given rise to many exemplary models, generating widespread impact and gradually transforming farmers’ awareness and actions in building new-style rural areas across the province.
